Ario Petrochemical Group started its work in the year 2000 by highly skilled and experienced experts to produce caustic soda (burning soda) in accordance with international standards. The company established its first factory in the year 2001 in Eshtehard industrial town in Tehran to produce caustic soda raw materials in the country and by considering the appropriate market of this product in international markets. In the year 2010, with a lot of experiences over time, this company was able to be considered as one of the largest producers of caustic soda in the country and built its second factory on site 1 of Assaluyeh Petrochemical Special Economic Zone.

Ario Petrochemical Group, by using the best technology, equipped laboratory of quality control, R&D department, and expert personnel, tries to provide a high-quality product in very good and diverse packaging. Accordingly, the company is honored to receive a standard certification from the National Iranian Standards Organization and also an ISO 9001: 2008 quality control certification from Tuv Nord Germany. Although the Ario series is now recognized as one of the largest producers of high-quality caustic soda and good service in the country, the company in addition to upgrading the product and supplying the domestic market and eliminating the country's dependence on imports of this product has tried to gain its goal i.e. access to regional and trans-regional markets.

Ario Petrochemical Group has the capacity to produce 60 tons of caustic soda each day in two production units using liquid petrochemical soda. The production units of caustic soda have located in different parts of the country. In addition to meeting the needs of 40% of the major oil companies, the food industry, the chemical industry, the detergent industry, the textile industry, and the agriculture industry, this company has also been successful in International markets as a coherent and integrated system.
